I haven't seen it. But, I think I know the ending: someone dies or something bad/sad happens. ______________________ hai |

I heard alot of praise for it, but I don't think it's my kind of movie. The next movie I'm looking forward to is Spider-Man ______________________ |

Quoting scm: On my side, I heard that critics in Canada all agree that the visual effects are stunning while their sentiment about the script was very mixed. Quoting scm: By the way, I saw the preview on the DVD of Casino Royale. It really looks good and I believe that it will be much darker than the two previous instalment of the series. Will Spider-Man 3 at least be nominated for an Oscar for the Best Actor and Actress? Well, I had the feeling, while looking at the preview, that the performance delivered by the actors was terrific. ______________________ Are you looking for something different than the mainstream media in order to have a debate? Quoting hiddendragon: Yeah, it will be a perfect time to turn that movie with a darker theme this time around. I never treated spider-man the movie like a comic book movie, but the oscars will never recognize that as an oscar worthy material... heck, i was even surprised that lord of the rings were nominated into the oscars years ago. Speaking of oscars, I was disappointed about how little mention did Infernal Affairs got especially when the Departed won best picture. Not only that, they said Infernal Affairs was a Japanese movie if I did not heard wrong Last edited by scm on March 22nd, 2007 23:39; edited 1 time in total. ______________________ |

Not treated as a movie worthy of an Oscar? Well, the Academy Award will certainly not treat Spider-Man as a movie worthy of a prestigious Oscar such as Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress or anything else that you'd like to name. However, I remember that the first Spider-Man (2004) won an Academy Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. Anyway, now that I saw the preview of the third movie on the DVD of Casino Royale, my expectations are very high. By the way, would you guys like to know who's the villain in the third movie? Quoting hiddendragon: Wrong button I pushed above Anyways, Venom, Sandman and Harry Osborn should be the villains this time... not to mention Peter Parker himself... An eternal war with himself psychologically. ______________________ |
