As you might have noticed, when browsing the topics, there is a list of pages available to browse through that topic under that topic's title. Initially, it was a new feature of PC Realm to allow faster and easier access. However, it has come to my attention that some believe this feature is useless. So, what do YOU think about it?

People have the freedom to choose the page that they want to look at when they enter the topic. Speaking about movie reviews, besides not respecting the international convention for displaying the list of movies and also being so horrendous for our eyes, the number(s) appearing under the name of a movie can definitely lead to a certain confusion in the visitors' mind. For instance, if I've had a choice to make between two methods (=two different websites) of displaying links, you will know that I'll choose the second one:

ex:

Infernal Affairs 2
1 2

Infernal Affairs 2

Moreover, if you really want my opinion, I am firmly convinced that the arrow, that is appearing in the right column of the table, is meant to fulfill the function of leading the visitor in the latest post about a specific topic. In short, just give to the visitors the freedom to choose the page that they want to visit once they get in the topic, because between you and I, it is categorically more preferable to open the book in order to look for the table of contents instead of having it on the front cover of a book. All in all, seeing numbers under the name of the topic is just repellent.

Maybe you can probably do it for other topics, but please, DO NOT apply it for the section concerning the movie reviews. We have international conventions to respect and you're (Robert) the only owner of a forum that does it (the way you display the links) on the web. That's so visually apalling and not innovative at all. Sorry, for being rude, but that's my comment.

Thank you for your comments. Please elaborate on that "international convention".

And, by the way, this is, by far, not the only forum that displays pages like that.

for example

If you insist, I could remove the pages only when viewing the movie reviews.

Quoting robert_ak:

All right you asked for it. Normally, when you build a section containing a list of movie reviews, you usually start building a "table". Besides, the name of the movies are shown in alphabetical order. When you build a column for the movies' respective name (in this case, it is the name of the topic) you should only put nothing but the movie's name in order to avoid confusion if I consider the way you display the links, all right? If you really want to try another way, just build another separate column for the available pages. That's it. That's all.

As per requested, only the movie reviews pages will no longer show the list of pages.
