The only thing that makes me keep using google earth is the real life photos that users upload for that specific area. It's the next best thing before I can actually accumulate enough money to travel around the world (wonder if I'll ever manage to fulfill this). I just came back from a "trip" in Newfoundland The 3d buildings and textures still look too crude to provide any inspiration. The street view is boring and slow. Quoting scm:i agree. everytime i see street view, it makes me wonder what's google's point. do they ever care about people's privacy or do they just go around doing stuff for no apparent reason? if microsoft had went in the streets with a car and photographed everything (let alone hit a deer..), people would be protesting for lack of privacy, but for some reason, it's ok for google. ______________________ hai |
