Question for the gamers... Do you update your video card drivers? Updating them may improve performance and at times necessary but I hear some people who had problems after updating drivers. I'm deciding to install or not right now... ______________________ |

If it works fine as it is then don't. Like you said, it may increase performance by a bit but it may also screw things up (happened to me once).

I always update the video drives on my rig. I look for new ones about 2 times a month. Yes, it can screw up sometimes but it's easy to restore to older driver versions and the chance of a faulty driver being released is slim. Also, it's not always a small performance increase. The latest Nvidia driver incorporated a physics update that allows your GPU to make better physics calculations when playing a game increasing performance by a lot because it lightens the CPU's load. If you have SLI, i suggest u get this if you didn't already.
