Well, i guess not. But that's not the point. Current material used to create connections between computer mobos and their respective hard drives limit the ultimate speed at which data can be written to the hard drive itself. Apparently, the US military can send information from the US to Japan faster than our computers can write information to our own hard drives. This is simply because wireless capabilities are limited at much higher states of speed. Ethernet cables for example, can transfer at 100 mb/s over LAN. New wireless technology however is calculated to transfer the same files at over 200 mb/s. The wireless hard drive is what i believe to be the next step after the current hard drive configurations our computers use.
