Hmm.
Let me tell you that it's very hard for me to make a decision since I really like most of them (I don't like plays and tragedies as much as the other genres). So, I'll definitely take realistic and psychological novels. My second favourite genre is the mystery/espionnage novels.

Do you particularly like any specific short story writers?

I dont really like to read stories... Anyways, I prefer watching documentaries or magazines. The stories I watch come from movies.

Hey, since you don't like to read work of fiction, do you read books based on real things. I mean, have anyone ever read The Communist Manifesto, from Karl Marx? I would like to know if someone can tell me if it's worth reading it (ok, I don't want to convert myself to communism, obviously) just to understand his thoughts. I have been trying to read a book on Canadian secret services two years ago, but I just left it aside after I have read two chapters, maybe I should read it again.

Never tried to read those, but might give a try.

Hmm. Now I'm trying really hard to give a chance to a book based on real things. I'm just reading a "biography" of Vo Nguyen Giap, a Vietnamese general who fought both the French and the American. I notice that reading a biography allows you to see the life through the eyes of someone else. Evidently, such an experience transform your vision of life, don't you think so?
