Are Asian movies better than ever

Ok. First of all, since we are Westerners, we can only discuss about movies that are "legally" available in Canada. I believe that Asian movies are just getting better than ever, because the Hong Kong (we're not talking about the People's Republic of China) producers are starting to sell less distribution rights of stupid movies to America and Europe (just think about the Asian movie industry between the 1970s and the 1990s) and we just get to see more "legally distributed" Japanese and Korean movies which are quite impressive. ______________________ Are you looking for something different than the mainstream media in order to have a debate?
